The Fisher™ 2052 Spring Diaphragm Rotary Actuator is a highly versatile and compact actuator designed to provide reliable performance in both throttling and on/off applications. Its space-saving design allows for installation on any valve, even in areas with limited space, making it an ideal choice for skid-mounted and small processing plants.
Engineered for precision and longevity, the 2052 actuator features innovative design elements that set it apart. The nested spring design eliminates the need for spring setting ranges, simplifying the selection and installation process. A clamped linkage connects to the valve shaft, reducing backlash between the actuator and the valve for more precise control, with typical dead band for a Fisher rotary valve assembly at 0.5% or less. Furthermore, its construction with materials like steel, iron, and ductile iron in the fail-safe mechanism ensures fire safety integrity.
This actuator offers exceptional flexibility, as it can be mounted on both splined and non-splined shafts (with an optional adapter), expanding its compatibility with a wider range of valves per the ISO 5211 standard. The unit can also be easily adjusted or its action reversed in the field without the need for additional parts.
