The Neles™ R-Series is a high-performance, economical segmented ball valve engineered for reliable on-off (isolation) and control applications. Its unique V-port segmented ball design combines a lightweight, high-capacity control valve body with proven shut-off seat technology.
This quarter-turn valve excels in handling liquids, gases, steam, and slurries, especially where high capacity and a wide rangeability are required. The true one-piece body construction eliminates potential leak paths from gaskets or seat retainers, ensuring maximum reliability. Standard units can be equipped with pneumatic cylinder or manual actuators paired with intelligent on-off valve controllers for outstanding isolation performance.
It features a wide temperature range from -50°C to +425°C, making it suitable for high-temperature services like steam and hot hydrocarbons. For demanding applications, optional features include the Q-Trim for cavitation control and noise attenuation, as well as various durable coatings for abrasive or corrosive media. The valve is designed for low fugitive emissions per ISO 15848 and is fire-safe certified per API 607.
