The Neles™ Neldisc L12 Series is a high-performance, triple-offset, metal-seated butterfly valve designed for demanding control and tight shut-off applications. It is part of the renowned Neldisc family, known for its robust design and exceptional sealing technology.
This valve features a unique triple-offset geometry with an elliptical disc and a sturdy, floating stainless steel seat. This design ensures mechanical, wear-free contact between the disc and seat, providing a bubble-tight seal independent of line pressure assistance. Built-in thermal and pressure compensation, along with a two-piece shaft design, minimizes actuator torque, reduces pipeline stress, and ensures reliable long-term performance.
The all-metal seat construction, with no elastomeric components in the pipeline, makes it ideal for high-temperature services and offers near equal-percentage flow characteristics for precise control. Its robust design handles a wide range of media and is particularly well-suited for challenging applications in the pulp and paper industry, capable of handling stock concentrations up to 4% in emergency shutdown services.
