Its double-acting design ensures solid and precise positioning, while the compact form factor offers an optional spring-return (fail-safe) mechanism for critical applications where valve position must be guaranteed upon air supply loss.
🎯 High Thrust & Precise Control: Capable of generating up to 111 kN (25,000 lbf) of thrust, and even up to 137 kN (30,800 lbf) in special configurations, enabling it to overcome high valve unbalance forces. The double-acting structure, combined with instrument signals, ensures solid and precise positioning with fast response.
⚙️ Flexible Stroke & Configuration: Offers standard strokes (up to 203 mm / 8 inches) and long-stroke versions (up to 610 mm / 24 inches) to meet diverse application needs. Sizes 25 and 50 come standard with top-mounted handwheels, while other sizes can accommodate side-mounted handwheels for manual operation.
🛡️ Rugged & Reliable Design: The universal NAMUR mounting interface provides a consistent installation method and features vibration resistance per ISA-S75.13. Low-friction piston seals and cylinder coatings effectively reduce wear and extend service life.
🔧 Spring-Return Option: Sizes 25 and 50 feature built-in bias springs. The springs can fully retract or extend the actuator stem upon air supply loss, providing a fail-safe mode, and can be easily reversed without additional parts.
