This valve features a pressure-assisted seal design that provides tight shut-off, allowing for the use of smaller, more cost-effective actuators in applications requiring full ASME B16.34 shut-off capability. Its innovative design ensures that the torque required to open and close the valve remains consistent, regardless of the direction of the applied pressure. Furthermore, the valve incorporates a shaft blow-out protection feature for enhanced operational safety.

For improved environmental performance, the optional ENVIRO-SEAL™ packing system offers superior sealing, guidance, and load distribution, helping to control emissions effectively. The valve body self-centers on pipeline flange bolts, facilitating quick and accurate alignment during installation, while the seal retaining ring screws are positioned not to interfere with the gasket sealing function. The trim and bolting materials are also suitable for use in sour liquid and gas applications.
