Neles spring return B1-series piston type quarter turn actuators are designed for use in both modulating control and on-off service. These actuators offer an extremely long cycle life and are well suited to operate almost any type of rotary valve.Designed with a self-contained spring cartridge, it provides a defined failure mode—moving the valve to a safe position (either fully open or closed) in the event of air supply loss, making it ideal for critical safety and emergency shutdown (ESD) applications. Its construction ensures an extremely long cycle life and excellent performance in both modulating control and on-off services
