The Neles BW Series is a robust, double-eccentric, metal-seated butterfly valve engineered for exceptional control and tight shut-off in the most demanding and severe service conditions.
Its design eliminates the need for elastomeric components to achieve a bubble-tight seal, ensuring long-lasting performance in high-cycle, high-temperature, and abrasive applications common in refining, power generation, petrochemical, and chemical industries.
The valve features a solid metal seat design based on metal-to-metal contact, providing excellent control and throttling capabilities. With an extremely wide temperature range from -200 °C to +470 °C and sizes up to DN 1600, it offers unparalleled flexibility. Key design benefits include built-in thermal and pressure compensation, a two-piece shaft design, industry-leading valve capacity (Cv), and remarkably low operating torque, making the valve-actuator package more cost-effective. The seat is field-replaceable without the need to remove the disc and shaft, requiring no special tools or adjustments.
