The SMC AL-D Series is a modular, micro-fog lubricator designed to provide controlled oil mist to pneumatic systems. As the final key component in a complete F.R.L. (Filter, Regulator, Lubricator) unit, it ensures the proper lubrication of downstream pneumatic components such as valves, cylinders, and air tools, reducing wear and ensuring smooth operation.
ts operation is based on the Venturi principle. As air flows through the unit, it creates a pressure drop that draws oil from the bowl, atomizes it into a fine mist, and delivers it into the air stream. The oil feed rate is manually adjustable via a knob for precise control. Featuring SMC’s modern D-series design, it includes a transparent, impact-resistant 360° cover that protects the oil bowl while allowing for easy visual inspection of the oil level and flow via a sight glass droplet indicator.
